This compact single-family house is situated in a homogenous urban housing quarter of Leverkusen and corresponds in height, volume and proportions to the surrounding properties. At the same time the building establishes a significant originality by its abstract and discrete character.  All private spaces are oriented via generous glass openings towards the south and the private garden, while the circulation zones are organized along the street façade. The construction as well as the technical facilities of the house allow for a flexible organization of the floor plan according to the users’ needs and changing living conditions.
